Uh... wrong. That is completely disingenuous. He was not pinned on the ground by 3 cops, for passing a bogus bill. 'What he was accused of doing' to receive that treatment, was resisting arrest; and yes use of force, up to and including lethal force, is justified to subdue a resisting suspect. The implications of your assertion is that shooting the cops, wouldn't justify pinning him down, because they were called for a counterfeit bill; so thats all they're justified to address. Everything the officers did, up to the point that Floyd became docile and fully compliant, was justified. The only salient question, is when that occurred and how much force was applied, for how long after. He was already exhibiting acute intoxication and claiming he couldn't breathe(while physically resisting), well before he was restrained. At that point, the officers had no reason or ability to differentiate between feigning medical distress as a resistance tactic, from actual medical distress(tip: if you can physically fight the cops and try to run away, until you're tackled... you, in fact, can breathe). The cops screwed up, but note that the other 3 people in the car with him, are alive and free; none of them were shot to death, choked to death, or framed.
