Seriously, asking the police for help evading detection, after completely and totally getting away with it for decades? 🧐 The whole thing was a manipulation, because he needed to kill again and just wssnt up to it. What could be more embarrassing than Master BTK getting caught, because some housewife overpowered him?

He wasn't angry at police, it was just another manipulation to guilt them. Dude clearly was trying to get caught. Likely because he wanted to kill again, but knew he didn't have it in him anymore, so he took it to the next stage. He knew he'd eventually get caught, anyway and didn't want to get caught as an embarrassing failure, having a heart attack on some woman's floor.
