  1. Cybersecurity. Dark Arts and secret handshakes. Get a cybersecurity degree and expect to work a grade over minimum wage for at least a couple years before you're trusted to get a real job. Its not so much that its a useless degree, as that its a highly oversold degree. Yeah, you can make 6 figures with it, at the top of your game. But most of your career is going to be wishing you'd done network maintenance.
