I hide without trying. I always say security is practices, not products. I share nothing that can be geolocated, all my machines that hold anything private, are airgapped, the only thing I use my credit card for, is to take out cash and buy a prepaid Visa. I developed these habits from my time in the Army and coming up in the 80s and being with the internet from its birth; in the day when there was no perception of trust. Its weird to me that people give everyone their email, post stuff they dont want everyone to see and use their credit card at half a dozen different websites a day.
