Its so obviously money laundering that the administration had to address it and setup 'blind' sales; which of course means nothing, because the gallerist that preset his unproduced pieces in the 100s of thousands dollar range, has records of the purchases. Research the provenance process, to get an idea of how incredibly shady this is.

  6.  @AquarianNomadic  Either you haven't bothered to look at his paintings, or you simply have no artistic aesthetic. Because his art, is definitely legit. You are suffering from cognitive dissonance and a false dichotomy. He can be a legit artist and this deal can be shady af. It is not a mutual exclusivity; two things can be true.
