  1. Schools have security and still get shot up. Because A) too much authority is entrusted with lazy or complacent people and B) a single layer of security is defeatable by a 10 year old; security doesn't have to be intrusive, it just needs to be layered so theres not a single point of failure. Metal detectors, X-rays and armed guards arent that effective when someone leaves a door open.
