Astonishing 😐 ~0.0001 deaths per gun; ~18% being criminal (0.000018 criminal deaths per gun). ~0.005 deaths per motor vehicle; 85%+ resultant of law violation. Yet, no one suggests background checks, licenses for purchase, limits on how many you can have, how much cargo, or how many hp. BTW, UK has a substantially higher death per gun rate, more than half being criminal. This is why deaths per gun/owner is never cited as a metric, when making the 'more guns than people' argument
