  2.  @CountSpartula  The 'reliability' myth of the AK was classic Soviet propaganda. The reason the tolerances were so loose, was not an intentional design element, to make it reliable, it was because Soviet production was so bad, parts from the same lot, on the same assembly line, wouldn't work together. They had to make it that way, just to be able to make it.
