  4. The problem with the 'be glad its gins' argument, is that if bombs and poison gas, etc were that effective or easy to do, it would be the weapon of choice. The reason guns are, is because they require no technical expertise or any significant preparation. Its a point and click solution. 99% of bombers' first victim, is themselves. Sure, its 'easy' to make something go boom. The challenge is not making yourself go boom. The uncomfortable truth is that if 'assault weapons' were banned, public rampage murders would dwindle to virtually zero. All the features of these weapons that make them desirable to us, make them ideal for mass shootings. The question is whether or not the pros of banning said weapons, outweigh the cons. That is where the argument lay. Simply screaming WHAT PART OF MY ALL CAPS DONT YOU UNDERSTAND!!! isnt moving the ball and neither are the clever quips about 'gun free zones' and 'make murder illegal', or the completely disingenuous arguments that the 'assault' features, of 'assault weapons' are just cosmetic. Every single one of these standardized features, have been developed for half a century or more, to increase lethality. If you cant justify owning such a weapon, STFU in quiet satisfaction that you dont have to. But, do not blue falcon the rest of us, with weak, disingenuous arguments, because you assume your opponent is a stupid Libturd who doesnt know what a barrel shroud is for (yeah, if you think its cosmetic, just remove it and get back to me). In short, if you cant carry the argument from either end, don't pick it up. There is no legislative solution to this problem. Its not guns, its not mental health, its social and we are all culpable. We have all, through our actions and by our inactions, created a 'no boundaries' culture of entitlement and instant gratification. These acts are being committed by people who feel marginalized, for a variety of reasons. 9/10 of these public mass murders, are a social justice rampage, over society's denial of the sex/inclusion/respect/success/etc, they've been institutionalized to feeling entitled. Every time you call someone an 'incel cuck', you are contributing; every time you call one of these people a 'loser', you are contributing; every time you judge someone's worth as a Human, by their success, you are contributing. No matter what measures are taken, this will only get progressively worse, until everyone stops trying to just kick it as far away as they can, from their own feet.
