  1. ​ @oleglovky  Because Russia is attacking strategic assets directly relevant to Ukraine's ability to wage war. Ukraine is attacking Moscow for propaganda and spite. The only targets in Moscow that have any strategic value, is senior leadership and civil gvt. Which is a path Ukraine does not want to go down. But, they've repeatedly demonstrated poor impulse control, which is why they're in such a bad position now and why no one trusts them with significant numbers of significant weaponry. Which raises another issue altogether of why tf would anyone give them anything , then. I mean, personally, I wouldn't give a knife to someone I don't trust with a gun. But, then again, these are the same minds behind American gun control policy - we dont know or care why Timmy wants to kill everyone in his path, we'll just limit the number of people he can shoot at one time, without a license.

  3. Those look like the UJ22 drone, again. They could be launched from pretty much anywhere, so there could be multiple launch locations. As well, there may have been a larger number launched that didn't make it to the target area(Moscow) and that could account for the differing numbers. Or, there may have been a wave that tasked only 8 for Moscow and the rest for other targets; and the official sources are reporting only the Moscow attack. Lots of potential reasons for the discrepancy.

  4. ​​ @daveyjones5702  Unlikely. One of Iran and Russia's(probably China, too) main features of their guided weapons, is GPS backup. Therefore NATO forces which depend solely upon GPS, cant jam or spoof, without compromising their own systems. This takes jamming off the board, in most circumstances. Air defenses use expendable ammunition, so you only need one more drone than the enemy has bullets. Those defenses have to be supplied, which is a huge logistical tax. These are just a couple of problems that won't be solved anytime in the foreseeable future. What these kind of weapons bring to the table more than anything else, is neutralization; they remove capabilities and options from the battlefield and tie down a disproportionate fraction of logistical capacity.
