  2. Im not convinced. I suspect its bait. There is no 'tactical surprise ' available when both sides have total awareness. They have to rely on psychological deception. I have a very hard time believing they would publicly announce the change of the watch, in an active AO. In Wagner's place, I would imagine they're hoping Ukraine will jump the gun on its counteroffensive and launch while they think they'll catch Wagner disorganized. They need to defeat the Russian army to be successful, but if they can be counted on for one thing, its to make dumb decisions for the optics(like invading Russia with 100 guys). That means they have to defeat Wagner and they have to do it at Bakhmut.
