@midgetydeath What led to this is hijacking of 'gun safety' as smug political rhetoric to push an agenda. They repeat the euphemism 'common sense gun safety', and believe they actually know gun safety.

@mohammadwasapedopig665 The problem for Baldwin is that safety protocols called for an immediate stoppage of all on-set operations, the moment someone not on the weapons crew, tried to hand him a gun. He was 100% aware of that rule and simply ignored it. Only the actor and the weapons handler are authorized to touch the guns.
