  1. The 'elites' and media simply think that as with all of their policies and actions, they will be exempt from the consequences. Just as with the covid lockdowns, they are so detached from common reality, that the believe they'll eat, drink and be merry with their elite parties and fancy dinners, while everyone else hunts rats in the rubble.
