The economic impact is hidden and the race rhetoric spewing mouthbreathers are too coarse to comprehend it. The problem isnt that theyre lazy, or criminal, or come for the welfare. Its that they come and outwork the indigenous population, for a fraction of the pay and then send 99% of their earnings back home, without spending and supporting the communities that host them. For example, I worked construction, where there was a crew of minimal to no English Mexicans always onsite ready to work, no matter how early I got there. They would outwork the white boys till lunch, have a tortilla with a dab of rice and beans, wash it down with 3 beers, nap the rest of their luchbreak, then outwork the whiteboys till quitting time. I stuck around one Saturday to talk with the boss. What I saw, was the Mexicans get a wad of cash about half the size of the one I leave the bank with, that they peeled a couple bills off from and put the rest in an envelope and hand it over to the English speaker, to mail back home. Then they all shuffled over to an empty lot behind the worksite and threw out their blankets.
I cant blame them. If I could do that in Mexici, I probably would. Who is to blame, is the project manager that pays them in cash at half the wage everyone else makes and the politicians that invite them, because it provides a cheap labor force for their friends.
