  1. There needs to be real accountability. Regardless of whether the story was true, or not, any reasonable person would assume that in this current socio-political environment, this story, the way it was run, would put a minor's safety in peril. Eventually there will be real violence and it will have been incited by zealotous media, who will shrug and say 'we didnt tell anyone to do anything'. Any judgement they might win in civil court, would be paid by a half a day's ad revenue; they wont even miss it. The FCC needs to start suspending broadcast licenses, for grossly irresponsible and negligent behavior.
