  1. This is totally the wrong argument about the wrong hazard. You don't need to worry about it being smarter than Humans, you need to worry about Humans treating it like it is. Its already a threat to the educational system, because people are using it to do homework and write papers. Without some intervention, in a generation a bunch of predictive language models will be running the gvt using politicians as sockpuppets, telling the People literally whatever it calculates they want to hear.
