  2. Yeah, this is pure gaslighting. This is in direct contradiction of their argument against Garland. There's no rationalization or equivocation to avoid that accountability. Republicans need to have courage of conviction to just stand up and say we're doing this, this is why we're doing this and your cries of 'hypocrite' are as meaningless, as you've made the rules. Democrats have spent the past 4 years trying to tweak, change and erase every single rule, to give themselves an insurmountable advantage. With the Kavanaugh episode, they've used up every shred of goodwill and cast off every vestige of decorum. This is their arena as they've constructed it and Republicans need to nut up and SAY IT.
