Except he wasn't. He was sociable, intelligent and disarming. Thats how he got away with it. Practically everything about that show is false, as a lot of components are easily referenced with crime scene documentation and trial footage. For example, you can watch the last victim's trial testimony to see how accurate that is; just for starters, they met at the mall, not hooking up in a gay bar. You can look at the police photos of his apt, which except for some boxes on the floor and a couple piles of jumbled items in corners, is overall as neat and clean, as just about any single man's apt. The heroic neighbor that knew and no one listened because she was black, is all fiction, she lived in an entirely different building. She was also honored by the city.
The show is propaganda about how the white police let a white man murder black men with impunity, when everyone knew what he was. That itself is an injustice to the victims, which are portrayed as indiscriminate homosexuals going home with a creepy white guy for money. Its insulting and diminishes the victims and the reality of how he got away with it for so long.
