Ill give you a hint, the only incidents youre going to find that fit that scenario, are public police shootings. Civilians have time and again, proven themselves to be far more responsible in such situations, than police. The 'gun free zone' refrain is getting old and I dont like seeing it either, but that doesnt make it untrue. Rampage shooters are looking to slaughter defenseless victims, not engage in combat, therefore they characteristically choose targets where they can find the easiest kills - theres a very good reason you dont see shooting rampages at gun shows, or gun ranges, or even in public, where bystanders/victims are armed.   8. +darkness I train police how to use an AR15. When I was 18, I had an M16A2, which I unfortunately used. One is a 'military assault rifle' and one is not. Neither is a necessity and in many cases is a liability, to these kinds of crimes. So far as Im aware, the Vegas shooting, is the only rampage shooting, where the AR15 was used as a rifle and where a handgun would not have produced similar casualties. The perpetrator there, had the background, credentials and resources to have legally obtained any weapon, under any current or proposed restriction - if he had wanted to go through the process, he couldve gotten a M16, a REAL 'military assault rifle'. The other high profile rampage shooting that seems relevant, was the Dallas shooting and the perpetrator there, used a SKS, which has none of the 'assault' features, of an 'assault weapon' and is legal in most countries that allow private firearm ownership. The overwhelming majority of victims of these acts, are executed at close range, while they plead or try to hide. An AR15 is no more effective at murdering a bunch of kids hiding in a corner, than a pistol is. For comparison, the Virginia Tech shooting was with a pistol - 33 dead, 23 wounded; and those were adults, not teenagers.

  10. Stephanie Brennan Canadia never had a public rampage shooting problem, prior to 'strict gun control'. Furthermore, your claim that Canadia doesn't t have mass shootings, is patently false. Much as with Australia and UK, Canadia has had MULTIPLES more mass shootings and mass killings in general, since instituting their highly restrictive firearms laws in 1969, than in the 150 years before. So, their 'strict gun control ' not only abjectly failed to solve a nonexistent problem, but by your rationale, it appears to have actually amplified it. Don't be an imbecile.
