He said NATO should give memership to the Ukrainian occupied part of Ukraine and then they could get back the Russian occupied area later. He abjectly refused to acknowledge Russian possession of any territory. So, in short, just another demand that NATO fight Russia for him. Hes insane or stupid.

Among other things, Lee was among the first to accept the end of slavery and support reunification. The reason these monuments exist, is in service to reconciliation. The Civil War was not North vs South, it was father vs son, brother vs brother, neighbor vs neighbor. North and South are just the corners they went to. These concessions were made, to reunite and heal a broken nation and a deeply divided people; to put a final end to the death and destruction. But, it seems there are still some bitter holdouts.
