  1. Im sure its painful. But, I took a spill and had a maisonneuve fracture, with vertical medial malleolus fracture and dislocation. All of the tendons, muscles and connective tissues from the knee down were severed or torn. My leg was purple and swollen like a water balloon for nearly 2 months. For a month, everytime I got upright, it was literal, unsuppressable scream out loud pain. It was concerning enough that I was tested for compartment syndrome. After getting most of my hand blown off, I thought there was a hard limit to the amount of pain a Human can experience. I was very wrong.
