  1. Happens all the time. She could easily have gone into the drain for her cat and got lost in the dark for 3 weeks. Thats traumatizing. A friend's wife was in a car accident and broke her neck. She had been in a halo. About a month after getting it off and getting back to normal life, she drove away from the house and never came home. They found her abandoned car by the road, where she apparently just got out and walked away. We searched for almost two weeks and then he found her in the county hospital psych ward, heavily medicated. A small bone fragment they missed, had impinged on her upper spinal cord and given her a type of seizure that causes acute delirium, with no visible physical symptoms. Another motorist had picked her up wandering by the road and taken her to the hospital. Kinda terrifying, huh?
