  1. 'Shows Russia's weakness' No. It shows Russia's underestimation of Ukraine's desperation for clout. Ukraine is getting overrun along the entire front, because they cant kidnap enough 'recruits' off the street to secure the lines and so they dedicate a brigade of their best troops to a 5u1c1d3 mission for clicks. The fact that theres so many 'theories' to why they're doing this, only goes to show there is no sane rationale for it. They attacked the easiest, quickest area for Russia to address, with woefully inadequate forces to secure any territory for any purpose. This is merely a PR stunt. That is the only rational purpose. I mean, unless you really believe Russia is going to pull 50k troops out of Donbas to redeploy to Kursk after already inflicting heavy casualties on the relatively small Ukrainian force.
