@thomasward8498 What no one seems to question is why Ukraine is so desperate for air superiority fighters. The answer is that indeed Ukraine's air defenses are depleted and Russia has suppressed them enough in Donbas, to start doing high altitude bombing. They've used 80 - 100 satellite guided bombs(just like JDAM), in the past couple weeks. If Russia manages to get planes over Ukraine, they wont last 2 weeks, no matter what we give them.

This is exactly it. US doctrine is based on presumption of overwhelming technical superiority. That doesn't work so well against an industrialized adversary. What would the US military do, if they couldn't bomb at will?

@yam2050 The point of the war, is for Ukraine to be destroyed so the US can buy it cheap and for Russia to be too tired to do anything about it.

American and by fiat Western posture and doctrine is predicated upon a critical presumption of overwhelming technical superiority. You dont comprehend how narrow and volatile that margin is, against another industrialized nation. How well do you think the US military would fare against Russia, or China, when their air capability is neutralized. You may recall that German advanced technology, is what US and Russian technology is derived from. Didnt help them and turned them into a vassal when everyone else got hold of it.

@Tasarran Of course they were. Tell us how they accomplished that? This is almost definitely a temporary distribution for some committee. Probably, someone photoed it on a break and then turned it back in, at the end of the briefing. So, when and how, did they alter the document?
