  1.  @torturedsoul8066  Think about this very carefully. This guy has heralded victory, for every inch of advancement and just as the city is at the tipping point and Ukraine is making moves to retreat, he publicly announces that hes combat ineffective and the Russian line is critically weak at his position. What does Zelensky do? Pulls even more defensive forces from the already depleted Donetsk and Kharkiv lines, to send to Bakhmut.

  2. There are substantial infantry forces in the Donetsk AO and from the rear Bakhmut line, up to the Kharkiv AO. Donetsk also has a large armor force thats been trickled in over the winter. None of these forces have committed to fighting are are just kinda hanging out. My projection is that they're getting Ukraine to pull as many defensive forces as possible from Donetsk and Kharkiv to support Bakhmut, then they'll surge at Donetsk, with Kharkiv as a feint or possibly an alternate objective.
