@johnnysgaminglab2126 What you're going to hear is that its just like last time, which took just as long to see gains. What you wont hear is that they're already going on double the casualties and 3 times the equipment loss, including a substantial portion of their highest value Western equipment. And the Ukrainian advance is barely visible. So you can expect that any day, Russia will be so desperate that they blow up a nuclear plant or cluster bomb a Polish daycare, or something.

Its not slow, its just ineffectual. It was clearly planned around Russia throwing down their guns and running away from invincible Western armor. That didn't happen and now they're left with nothing but Human wave attacks and a growing manpower and training shortage. Last year, Russia was outnumbered 3:1, had no defensive works and had minimally trained troops rushed into the field. Now, they have a 1.2:1 advantage, extensive mutually supported defensive positions, well developed logistics, full cycle training and air superiority.
