  1. Russia could not ask for a better situation, if they custom ordered it. That concentrates an immobile force in an environment thats as dangerous as the enemy. They can just reduce the buildings with long range weapons. Ukraine is in a hurt locker. Any decision to withdraw shouldve been made over a month ago and they shouldve been pulling back this whole time. The moment they try to break contact and withdraw, they'll get run down from behind, while they run into a gauntlet of artillery. They now have to be extracted, which will get more men trashed, or they have to be abandoned. Narrative notwithstanding, thats exactly what happened in Mariupol; they stayed too long to get out, got cut off and got abandoned.

  2. ​ @ericp1139  This is why you dont insult, mock and disrespect an adversary. Last April they Ukraine stood to give up less than they've irrecoverably lost. Zelensky has painted Ukraine into a corner with his infantile behavior and when negotiations do come, hes going to get punished.
