  1. These are almost certainly marauders, impersonating Russian soldiers. Its extremely common in warzones. The reason they wear armbands, is because both sides use the same uniforms and equipment, making it easy peasey to be whomever its convenient to be. They arrived in a white van, with 'Russian Tank Special Forces' written on the side. There is no 'Russian Tank Special Forces' and as a veteran, Its inconceivable to me to not know your unit.

  6.  @Favoki  Oh, but the civilian vehicle they arrived in, had 'Russian Tank Special Forces' written on the side. Of course, there is no such thing and if there were, it would be pretty weird to write it that way.

  7.  @vitomanza8341  You have no evidence of what happened. You were shown disconnected video clips that showed no such thing and told what you saw. Are you aware they were in a civilian vehicle, with 'Russian Tank Special Forces' spray painted on the side? Really think that over.

  11.  @vme1111  Proof of what? Who they are? Or, the facts I presented? Of course I can't prove who they were. No one can and thats the point. As for the rest, its available in reports from other news outlets. BBC has a more detailed report, including the van they arrived in. My guess would be deserters, probably from Ukraine, maybe some of their foreign fighters(thats pretty common in wars like this). The most curious puzzle piece, being the 'Russian Tank Special Forces' written on the van. Theres no such thing, Russian soldiers would know that and Its very odd that soldiers would spray paint that on a civilian vehicle they just grabbed.

  15.  @basskick666  In the unedited video, 5 guys operating alone, show up in a white, civilian van, with 'Russian Tank Special Forces' spray painted on it. Considering there is no such thing and its hard to imagine why soldiers would write that on a civi vehicle they're rolling around in, that should raise some serious questions about who they are and what really happened.

  18.  @slippingsnake  You see different videos from different cameras. You do not see anyone shooting, or anyone getting shot. But more importantly, you don't see any Russians, you see men wearing white armbands. Sorry, but that is simply not even remotely enough evidence to claim warcrimes. This is almost certainly marauders. Probably Ukrainian, because their car they arrived in, was spray painted with a non-existent Russian unit name. Im a veteran and its unfathomable to not know your unit.
