If it were about morals and defending Western democracy, A) Ukraine is not and was not a Western democracy and B) there are far more worthy recipients of our bombs of freedom, that are completely ignored, because they have nothing we want. This conflict in Ukraine is minimum 2 - 3 years from conclusion and the US State Dept is already taking reconstruction bids. We are using Ukraine as a bait dog to test Russia, while completely destroying Ukraine, so we can buy it cheap and fatten contractors to rebuild it. The reason Zelensky is trying to bomb ethnic Russian civilians out of their homes in Easter Ukraine, is because it has gas and oil fields; which he has already promised Western development contracts for.
