  1. There is no pressure. The armor and electronics in these tanks are classified and export restricted. Anything Ukraine gets, will be stripped of any sensitive, or advanced technologies and will be substantially inferior to what they'll be facing. Thats why the M1s we exported to Saudi Arabia and Iraq get spanked. Not that the real thing wouldn't get smoked by ATGM and artillery, like everything else.

  2. Has nothing to do with 'escalation' or 'logistics'. Its because they are full of classified and export restricted technology. The US and Germany are not going to expose their top drawer tech to Russia. The same reason Turkey got kicked out of the F35 program, for using S400s and why Israel has to get authorization to fly F35s in stealth configuration. Every exposure to the enemy gives them data and eventually they develop countermeasures and find vulnerabilities. The last thing they want is for Russia to capture one and study the armor.
