Once Jimmy decides that murdering everyone in his path is a valid redress of his grievances, its too late to take away inappropriate toys or address mental health. The medication issue is also known as 'motivation paradox'. Medication makes a completely dysfunctional person, functional enough to self-motivate themselves to act on inappropriate emotions. Medication alone, works only for moderately depressed patients. Once behavioral dysfunctions develop, medication will only work as a lubricant for behavior modification and must be closely supervised.
