  4. Thats what Ukraine thought. They planned their offensive on propaganda. They expected to storm across the fields, mowing down fleeing Russians with their invincible NATO armor. This is clearly evident in the tactics they've used from the outset. In their very first wave of attacks, they employed massing tactics. That is, charging in bunched up, to jam a bunch of troops into a hole in the lines. The only reasonable explanation, is they didn't count on fighting and thought Russia was going to just throw down their guns and run for their lives.
