  1.  @raideurng2508  Nice fantasy. Look back at my comments a week ago getting called a Russian bot, when I said their little counteroffensive was played out. They threw everything they had at Kherson and wasted thousands of lives. So, US intelligence gave them a consolation prize and told them where the North was undefended. Their 'stunning advance' in the Kharkiv region that they've been victory lapping on now, for longer than it actually lasted, was against lightly or completely undefended objectives. Russia simply wasn't willing to put up a fight over it, because in a few weeks when winter sets in, whomever is occupying those positions are going to be fixed, with no supply or reinforcement and sitting ducks for artillery and airstrikes. I should think, Ukraine will vacate them before that and theyll just sit abandoned all winter.

  4.  @alainlefebvre9860  Except Russia isnt violating Ukrainian borders. Thats the point. The Donbas region voted on their independence 8 years ago and Ukraine has been booming them ever since. Prior to the invasion, Russia officially recognized their independence and the US responded within hours, by sanctioning LPR and DPR, defacto recognizing their separation from Ukraine. Within days the rest of NATO followed suit. They cannot be sanctioned separately of Ukraine, unless they are not Ukraine.
