  1. It started 2 weeks ago. Now its in the probing phase where they're trying to 'psych out' Russia into repositioning troops to address feints. Thats not going to work this time. Russia has built multiple layers of deep fortifications all along the front, so they're going to continue to fall back from line of contact to their first line fortifications. Eventually Ukraine will have to commit to an AO and then Russia will bomb the troop concentrations.
