Yeah, they already tried that a couple times and couldn't get close, genius.

It means the particular drone was chosen for its ability to elude air defense. Hence the woefully inadequate payload.
14
I agree, they almost certainly would've sent 100 hypersonic cruise missile, if it were them.
4
Um... lets see... because its the best they could do?

@limedickandrew6016 Im aware

@DrStupid87 Ukraine MOD

Yeah, so its like this... Russia doesn't need any excuse to escalate 🤦
2
Right? Ukraine definitely would've used their hypersonic cruise missiles if this were real.
2
@ypointNull These people are just cowards. They've been cheerleading for exactly this. When it actually happens and then they think about the consequences, its nahhh-uhhhhh rUsSiA aTtAcKeD tHeMsElVeS 🙄
2
Well, they haven't tried to blow up Zelensky... yet.

Everyone has the narrative straight, now Funny how quickly all the cheering and encouragement for Ukraine to bomb Moscow and assassinate Putin has turned to desperate denial. Doesn't seem like such a good idea now, or what?
1
It literally did not

@Maplatter Southeast. Now look at a map. He intentionally obfuscated(lied), as a denial. Its cringy and pathetic. Id bet whatever is in my pockets right now, that I can find multiple comments from him, cheerleading for Ukraine to attack Moscow and probably for assassinating Putin, as well. This is what everyone wanted, so why are they cowering away, now?

@Dan-jl5ej Its a small fixed wing. Ukraine has a number of drones that have the range, just not any significant payload capacity. Hence the inadequate effect.
1
@Dan-jl5ej The one in the video is a gliding platform.
1
@Dan-jl5ej Ill have to check that on a larger screen. Im well aware of drone classifications.
1
@Dan-jl5ej Almost certainly a UJ22 fixed wing UAV. Length - appx 3.5m; wingspan - appx 4.5m; max range - appx 800km. The UAV in the video is appx the same size as the flag, which extrapolating from the staircase below, is appx 3m - 3.5m in width. The fireball from the blast is appx 15m - 25m across, indicating a ~3.5 - 5.5kg payload. The UJ22 has been used in numerous deep strikes inside Russian borders, with one a couple months ago shot down about 70km from Moscow.

Look at a map

🤦🤦🤦

@elevat1on It was neither. The ship was holed just below the waterline. Ukraine swarmed it with small drones as a diversion from the sea drone that rammed it. They said it was Neptunes, because the existence of the sea drone wasn't yet publicly acknowledged.
1
@J Ukraine has a number of small fixed wing drones with 500km+ range. They have an Orlan 10 copy with 500km+ range. They also have the cardboard Australian SYPAQ drone, which claims a 120km combat range, which would translate to about 300km max range. Its range limitation could easily be extended by stripping it down and installing a larger battery. Ukraine has been boasting about them and how 'stealthy' they are. A one-off single use drone that doesn't have to be particularly sturdy, is pretty easily doable.
1
So, Ukraine is desperate and incompetent, whats your point?
1
@ryanread8617 A 'professional military analyst' said this, huh? Assuming a common rise and stringer for the staircase, we can estimate the flag to be approximately 3m - 3.5m long. The UAV in question is roughly the size of the flag. The Ukrainian UJ22 fixed wing drone is appx 3.5m in length with a 4.5m wingspan and has a listed max range of 800km. The fireball alone is roughly 15m across. 'Hand grenade' - former 297th MI-BN

Remember that time Zelensky bombed Poland and blamed Russia, to start a world war? Not exactly the same, I guess.

@Maplatter Didn't happen
