My guess is that he was intoxicated.

The guy who killed 17 people showed the cops his hands and laid down with his hands out... WITHOUT being told; likely because he didnt want to get shot. He didnt run from cops, jump fences and then turn around and come at them with something in his hand, after trying to get into someone's house. Thats what got him killed, not 'breaking windows'. Minor distinction, I know, but worth noting nonetheless.

And when you add up all those blown up buildings and school shootings, how dies their number and victim count compare with an average ghetto weekend? And before you say anything, know that Im 'brown' and spent half my youth in a ghetto.

Jumping a fence, while running from police, then taking something out of his pocket and moving toward them, yes... yes, thats justification for shooting someone. Keep in mind, that if the homeowner came out and caught him breaking into their car and drilled him, there wouldnt be any question and it wouldnt even make the news.

Well you shouldnt be, considering they fired so many shots because they didnt know if or where any of them hit him. You should note that you can visually verify at least 5 misses, from the FLIR footage. Those are just the ones you can see.

CITATIONS NEEDED!!!

The instant he ran, he became a felon. The felon jumped a fence into another yard and attempted to enter a house. The felon then turned and approached the officers after taking something from his pocket and holding it out in front of him. The felon gets shot by pursuing officers. Thats the story of the 'imaginary gun'.

+drewski5215 You forgot the part where their leader was ambushed and shot to death, on his way to a meeting to negotiate his surrender. But nice try.

No, equally likely to be the perpetrator, as to be stopped or arrested.

Well, the first time I wasnt clear enough. But this time, I can day that you have very poor reading comprehension, or youre just pretending not to understand, because it thrashes your narrative. So, which is it?

+Gary Johnson Appeal to emotion, much? If my family member shot at cops and got Bonnie and Clyded, I would probably defend them; does that prove their innocence? Cops responded to a prowler/burglar call at night. Cops approach suspect, suspect runs and jumps a fence. Cops catch up with suspect who is trying to force his way into a house. Cops repeatedly yell 'SHOW ME YOUR HANDS'. Cop yells GUN and takes cover. Suspect turns and approaches cops, with something in his hand, as cop yells GUN! GUN! GUN! Suspect gets shot to death by police. Now then, go over that chain of events very carefully and see if you can figure out whose fault it is the suspect got shot.

Um, ok... so if theyre 'pink', theyre by definition, not albino. Second, the light skin comes from a differential donor species that evolved in Northern climates. Its where reason and abstract thinking comes from. You know, 'intellect'. So, what does that do for your assertion?

He wasnt shot 20 times.

He wasnt shot 20 times.

He did everything wrong. You have to understand that when he ran from the cops, he committed a felony. Now they are pursuing a felon who may have just murdered a house full of people, for all they know. When they catch up with him, hes attempting to enter the rear door of an unknown house. When he fails to get in, he turns and advances on them with something shiny in his hand. The reaching in his pocket probably wouldn't have gotten him shot, had he not run and jumped fences and tried to enter a house.

+Cricket Wireless Yeah, except thats not what happened, is it? Nor can you probably find us one example of that happening.

+Eduardo Endara Correa Thats his Grandma's house that he jumped the back fence to get to, while running from police, who caught him at a neighbor's house, trying to get into their car... while responding to a call about a prowler breaking into cars. Then after repeated ordering him to stop and show them his hands, he takes something shiny out if his pocket, holds it out in front of him and walks toward the cops that are yelling 'GUN GUN GUN'... at which point he STILL doesnt stop. You left out some important facts.

+ Escape Reality So, let me get this straight, you think its ok to gun down a strawman?
1
No, their response to a glass breaking vandal was 'SHOW ME YOUR HANDS'. The shooting was their response to a threat from an armed felon.
