  2. If he's smart, which it appears he is, he disassembled the gun and dispersed it. A Glock comes apart in 5 pieces in seconds and just a little longer to break it down to every part, pin and spring. The barrel is the part that will conclusively ID it and unless he got lazy, they'll never find that. As well, with everything else he did to evade surveillance and complicate investigation, I suspect he altered his appearance in some way. Otherwise they should have his photo from the forged ID.
