  2.  @Stigstigster  The only time anyone is at any risk, is Tier 1 & 2 CQC in live shoothouses. There you are talking about operators who will be shooting at bad guys, amongst good guys, in live operations. Otherwise, there is always some bulletproof barrier in the line of fire; as noted elsewhere in the thread, crawling trenches with live fire overhead, or working the pits at the range, where you are in a concrete bunker under the targets.
