Comments by "Spring Bloom" (@springbloom5940) on "🔴 Ukraine War - Ukrainain Forces Destroy Russian Tanks With Direct Accurate 120 MM Mortar Strikes" video.
Thats because the video is edited into second long clips of just successes and cuts out all the random blasting of everything for a half mile around.

@danielwhyatt3278 Ukraine has popped 1000s of NLAW to kill 100s of obsolete tanks and light armor. They've proven almost entirely ineffective against modern units with integrated ERA and soft kill countermeasures.

@Fergus_0703 100s, not 1000s and you may note the sudden disappearance of tank kills.

@Fergus_0703 They have more modern tanks, than they've lost of old tanks. ~85% of NLAW kills have been against thin skinned vehicles like transports. There are numerous videos of NLAW being stopped by ERA, they're just edited to show only the hit and not the vehicle shrugging it off.

@wigon Uh... no

Ger Woody Ukraine is using propaganda and video editing software.

@memkiii MCLOS crew served, direct fire weapons. Not tandem warhead, active seeking, individual weapons. Just a tad bit of difference.

@SkeezyFPV I am familiar with Excalibur (it has a CEP of ~15', so that would be bigger than my bedroom window). This is not guided artillery(well it might be, but its not targeting vehicles), guided artillery is not targetable by just putting a LASER on a drone and that is definitely not something we taught them to do. What you are seeing is just another deceitfully edited video, like the one where they blasted a residential neighborhood to toothpicks for 20 min, shooting at an armored column and hit a BMP and a T72. Then, showed off the smashed asshole that was left of the neighborhood, as 'Russia targeting civilians'.

@wigon Don't do this... for your own dignity. Last warning.

@Autiboar No, they weren't 🤦

What 'flaw'? You understand these weapons didn't exist, even as concepts, when these tanks were designed and built, right?

@allennguyen4456 Reports and base logic agree that Javelins have been used sparingly against tanks. For the most part, they haven't really had an appropriate opportunity to use them against tanks, as they were designed for open fields, clear backgrounds and long ranges; exactly opposite of where all the armor kills are occurring. They've been using them against helicopters, though. The famous helicopter kill thats credited to a stinger, where it comes left to right across an open field, is hit and goes down in flames, is almost definitely a NLAW.

@show2ime FALSE

@scratchy996 They had guided anti-tank missiles in WWII, huh?
1
@45dda Yet no, there aren't.

@45dda Exactly the response I'd expect as a product of your intellect.
