  3. I have a 72 Challenger out in the barn, with a 225 in it. I inherited it from a friend bought it on leave from the Army. The original owner threw a rod through the side of the 340, so my friend dropped the slant in it, to move it. He got restationed to Germany and never came back, so I went and picked it up. Its still sitting because it needs bodywork and I've been around that block; starting bodywork, exposing bare metal, not getting it finished and the whole thing just disintegrating.

  4. That's not a failure button, its a jam enhancer. Why, on Earth, would you mechanically force something into the chamber, that's already stuck? No, really, there's a couple very good reasons fot it and it has saved my ass, before.

  5. This should be interesting. I was a US Army analyst on DS/SW. I did a ton of BDA, some ISR/ISTAR and lots and lots and lots of GEOINT/MASINT for the 'Left Hook' planning. We could tell what was in the back of a truck, from space, by the color of vegetation in the area.

  6. Thats how I started. Around '78 or '79 with a classroom math terminal (and waiting half the class period for it to print) and snooping around the directories for other programs. They had a couple Apples we used occasionally. When I got to 7th grade in the early 80s, we had Computer Literacy with C64s. Constantly got in trouble for not following the lesson, because we already had computers at home doing way more sophisticated stuff.
