Really love this content Lewis. Worked for NATO, in Germany from 89, to 91. So this stuff fascinates me. ๐

It was these that got me hooked onto your channel. As well as Ham radio. For this you have my gratitude. It's almost like peering between the layers of reality?
21
I've been hoping for more detail on this. U delivering is well received. This really lights my candle m8. ๐
17
Same! One of the most hard working & conscientious content providers on YT.
16
As a noob myself. I'd enjoy a series of this kind. There are questions & answers that might make me feel dumb asking. So, a ground up build & instruction on antenna etc. Would be highly instructive. ๐
12
Great upload m8. Numbers station's got me hooked to your channel. Then onto, amateur radio. ๐
10
Barn coordinates plz. ๐ฑ๐ค๐คจ
10
You never fail to enlighten me Lewis. Thanks. ๐

ย @RingwayManchesterย You're welcome. I was attached to the British army in Germany before during & after the Wall fell. As well as Communism later. So these kind of post's catch my interest.

In all instances. I'm sure it's because our government allows them. Either because of diplomatic exemptions. Even though they may be being used against. Or, same reason, but our analysts & cryptographers have tapped in. Regardless, these things are just the entrance to a very deep & complex rabbit hole. Grateful for ur uploads m8. Stay safe. ๐

There's a city/town not far from Glasgow airport. Where it's still doing its thing. ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐โข๏ธ PS: Thanks again for your hard graft. In getting this content out there.
8
Or, the Coke dispenser was actually the covert entrance to their bunker, lol.
8
Your dark net site address plz. I wish to order 4 of each. ๐

As a mechanical engineer. I can see what they were going for with swarf. Though not if you hadn't told me. It has a lot more of a coil to it. Still, this is a great way to make mast's blend in. ๐
8
โย @NOWThatsRichyย As did the UK, prison service. Prisoners where allowed transistor radios, but they had to be am or mw, only. As if they where fm, they'd be able to monitor the officer's radio traffic.
7
It reall isn't flat!!! Wow. I can finally take those really long walks i've wished for all my life. ๐
7
โย @RCAvhstapeย True. If it has a circuit board it can fry.

Cottager's found this structure ages ago. And i believe they were extremely disappointed! ๐ฑ๐คช๐

Appreciate this post m8. As a prepper. I've been seriously thinking of getting a set of these. Had an infra red monocular version a few years ago. Though it's magnification wasn't too great. In your thumbnail it has a range finder. These can decieve! As when you're looking up or downhill. The range will always be a lot further that what's registering on your particular device. There's an equation that gives u a more precise range, but talking of range. My iq is below the range to work that equation out, lol. Gratitude for posting. You're my go to channel for all thing's radio. And now it seems. Other interests of mine too. ๐

Don't know if it's your live video. Or just your interesting content, but i really can't get enough of your wonderful stuff, Lewis. Gratitude from your Scottish fans. โค

I'm starting to get the feeling you really like these comms. ๐๐
5
Gratitude for posting this type of content Lewis. I live less than 1/2 mile from Grange mouth dock's in Scotland. So at certain times i get a decent bit of action monitoring. You helped me in the past with good reference points. ๐
5
โย @cottonfooย You've just terrified many tinfoil hatter's! I'm sure they will be petitioning said Universe. Stating, "Not in our back yard!" Lol. Lovely comment btw. ๐
5
Thanks, Lewis. I enjoyed that. Very informative for me at least. ๐

It's always wise to have good old analogue to fall back on. Assuming it's shielded from, emp etc. This includes not just comms, but also mode's of transport. Train's, motor vehicles etc. We're so busy rushing forward to the next generation of tech. We think nothing of discarding the thing's that served us extremely well in the previous decades.

Nice extra bit of info. Thanks m8. ๐

Rowing into the North Sea. You'd not only, not get caught but probably wouldn't be seen again. ๐ Though i get your point. ๐

Same. In Scotland during the 80s i had a CRT, tv. I saw several police car's pull up across my street. So i turned the volume down on the tv. To help my busybody hear more of what was being said over the road. Out of the blue, i heard. "Bring the enforcer. We're going to force entry." This came through my TV's speaker very clearly. Even though volume was turned off? Still haven't a clue why i picked up that transmission???

Somebody knows the tool's of the trade it seems? ๐คช

I'm at the stage now. Where i watch ur uploads as much for the awesome video work as i do for the knowledge u provide. Either way. Bravo & kudos to u for what is always interesting & informative viewing. Gratitude!

Same here. I had a monocular infra red type a few years back. Bought it 2nd hand. And it still cost around ยฃ80. For what it was, i found it good value for money. Though the magnification was only X6 or X8. I got into prepping several year's back. I'm ex military so had a head start with feildcraft etc. One of the reason's i started was the fact i live between Faslane nuclear sub base, in the Clyde. And Rosyth royal shipyard on the river Forth. So i know those will be targeted. โน๏ธ It's better to have it & not need it. Than need it, etc, etc. And my philosophy on the chaos that would ensue is, "No helps coming. It's up to you." Hope u stay prepped & stay safe. ๐

Is it possible the siren's were broadcast over the hacked stations?
4
Please say you mean fingers & toe's? ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐๐๐

You squeezed those dry for all the intel. ๐

It's always about the cash. Enjoyable post Lewis. Thanks.

The reason for these closures & delays is because the UK has never had snow before. Canada has real snow. Tens of feet of the stuff. Yet their infrastructures only occasionally annoyed by it. Contingency plans come from central government down. Ours is unaware of this fact.

Very nostalgic ad.

โย @johnmf6096ย Think he's just letting ppl know he's not mercenary with the subs he's built up. For many content is an afterthought. And, "coin is king?"

ย @Onthecouch-r5rย Truly wondrous times to be in, Germany. ๐
3
ย @Onthecouch-r5rย Infantry myself. 1st Btl, Argyle's. Majority of it in Elizabeth barrack's in Minden. Joined the, Pioneer labour support unit soon after leaving. As i had a German Frauline & wanted to stay in Germany. I really liked it there. One of my regrets was never getting to Berlin. As i wasn't far away from it in the Pioneers. Was near Paderborn with them. ๐โ๏ธ
3
ย @Onthecouch-r5rย I got to work with several other regiment's, once i joined the Pioneers. Even though i was still employed by BAOR. Discipline was a lot less strict. I still remember my CO. A Portuguese Major, Hernandez, who was NATO liaison. I still look back to those times fondly.
3
ย @Onthecouch-r5rย Indeed. A great start for a young man. Our military isn't what it was these day's. Pretty sure the British fighting spirits still there. But politics being what they are, has left us the bare bones of an army. And the state of the world right now is no time to have our army reduced to an almost token force. All the best mate. ๐
3
This took me back. Ahh, the good old days, lol. โค
3
I enjoy my bins & telescopes too. I had a great monocular ir night vision scope around, 8 year's ago, but to my regret i sold it to my friend. It was so useful. As i frequently camp & go fishing in Scotland. Gratitude for another interesting post m8. ๐
3
Yes! Pairs are a delicious fruit. ๐ค๐
3
Good tip.
3
ย @MM0IMCย Oh yes. I understand. ๐๐
3
Exactly what got me hooked. Interest started with the, number's station's. Now 6 month's later, i've started studying for my licence.
3
I'm surmising that any entrance may have been in the vicinity of the barns local, but not necessarily there itself. It would defeat the purpose of a secret entrance if was a, "tradesman's entrance," so to speak? Though i may be talking a lot of nonsense? Who can really be sure of the machinations of secret facilities. And the mind's behind them? Ur uploads have been exceptionally interesting of late Lewis. Thanks. ๐
