Tried to explain so many times over the decades to friends what a, "recoilless rifle is. And how it operates. Most civvies can't get past the fact it isn't a," rifle", in the true sense of the word. Then when I explain it's recoilless because of the gas ports at the rear. They ask. "Then how can it fire the shell". Gratitude for ur post sir. It has saved me a lot of explaining. PS: Gratitude for all ur posts. As an ex British army pioneer. I learn a lot. The minute u think u know everything. U stop learning.

As a mechanical engineer. I can see what they were going for with swarf. Though not if you hadn't told me. It has a lot more of a coil to it. Still, this is a great way to make mast's blend in. 👍

Appreciate this post m8. As a prepper. I've been seriously thinking of getting a set of these. Had an infra red monocular version a few years ago. Though it's magnification wasn't too great. In your thumbnail it has a range finder. These can decieve! As when you're looking up or downhill. The range will always be a lot further that what's registering on your particular device. There's an equation that gives u a more precise range, but talking of range. My iq is below the range to work that equation out, lol. Gratitude for posting. You're my go to channel for all thing's radio. And now it seems. Other interests of mine too. 👍

I'm surmising that any entrance may have been in the vicinity of the barns local, but not necessarily there itself. It would defeat the purpose of a secret entrance if was a, "tradesman's entrance," so to speak? Though i may be talking a lot of nonsense? Who can really be sure of the machinations of secret facilities. And the mind's behind them? Ur uploads have been exceptionally interesting of late Lewis. Thanks. 👍

Another interesting video, Lewis. Gratitude for uploading. I always take something away from your post's. Antenna was probably the first. And arguably most important tip. I upgraded the stock antenna on my handheld to an, RHD - 771. And quickly noticed difference in recieving quality. Transmit power unchecked for now. As i'm still studying for my license. Having fun doing so though. Best of luck for the future m8.
