For me the idea of a BIG FAT wedding is. - Get married in court - Spend the money saved on an unforgettable trip with my partner - Throw a party for close relatives and friends once I am back

Honestly, In India its less about making it memorable and more about making a big show.

As someone who is from Gujarat I have been eating Balaji since I was a kid. To this date, a 20rs Balaji Cream & Onion is my go to snack in the evening. The taste is still the same, the quantity is still satisfying, I wouldn't give it up for anything else. Seeing this underrated brand in some spotlight makes me happy.

This also makes you feel inadequate because you're watching a ten minute video on a topic that the creator probably spent days on.

@Aevy TV I love your channel but I saw in one of the comments you mentioned that you were also part of one of his programs. This is an extremely important piece of information that should be mentioned in the video itself.

Not to discourage you, but I wish you the best hope you can maintain the same motivation throughout your life.

The best deterrent I've found for screen time is to enable a grayscale filter your phone screen. Most phones have it under settings. When your brain starts seeing the dull and boring black and white picture, it will automatically rewire itself to not want to constantly look at the phone screen.

Governments don't ban cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol - things that are objectively more harmful than short form videos, what makes you think they'll ban videos? You have to step up for yourself!

@nir7629 Companies are companies, governments don't care about what you're selling as long as you're paying them their cut - aka taxes. Let's say if you somehow convinced the regulators, then you're faced with a very difficult challenge of defining short form content in legal terms. I mean how do you even do it, based on time? if yes, then are adverts also a short form content now because they're just as short. Do it based on content? well that's even more complicated because content is very subjective. Lets say you brought the smartest minds of the country to create a law that banned the short form content. Well, the companies are just going to find a loophole in the law and keep pumping the same thing. Its a game of cat and mouse. Casinos are banned in India yet there are tons of apps operating a casino because their legal team can twist and turn the law to get away. Its a game of cat and mouse. Like I said, its very impractical to expect the government to do something here. Hell, they can't fix a damn road do you think they understand or care about a more nuanced subject like mental health? Solution? Educate yourself and the next generation about these topics. The same way our parents taught us that alcohol and tobacco are bad, we must educate ourselves and pass on that knowledge down the generations.
