  1. For traveling into the future we have formulas that can predict the amount of time dilation. Infact astronauts do it on a very miniscule scale. For traveling into the past, we just simply don't know how that would work. I mean whose to say that you won't end up in a universe where the laws of universe are completely different so our knowledge is useless.

  2. Are you telling me that there is a world where there is knowledge to manipulate time but they can't emulate an IBM 5100? Heck you can probably do it on a smartphone today.
