  3. ISO WG 21 giving the Rust Foundation some tough competition in terms of insanity. I used to think the programmers community was immune to political brainrot because we simply didn't care or we knew not to mix the two. But over time I was proven very wrong. As long as people have power they will try to enforce their personal beliefs onto others, no matter how insane those beliefs are. Its mind boggling to me that we are at a point where a word as basic as "question" is somehow correlated to hate speech through vile mental gymnastics. Like what the f***. It genuinely makes me wonder what is the mental state of the person who saw the article title and immediately jumped to conclude that it was anti-semitic. They need to be investigated and held accountable because there is some serious projection going on there. I have respect for Andrew for staying professional and defending what is right even if it meant losing his position. I hope he takes it to the court because f*** whoever did him dirty.
