As a mobile developer, I like it when big companies accept that their current language is not up to the mark and create something new from scratch instead of just patching the old and creating more drawbacks than benefits. Google did exactly this with Java and Kotlin for Android!

Imagine having to go through the entirety of brain rot that is Twitter. I feel sorry for Grok.

Teacher: Okay everyone, Today we will build a simple calculator that runs in command line. Jeff: Aight, Imma need this 8 libraries and these 5 technologies and I am ready to go.

I like that it gives the references but it being free seems like a huge red flag. AWS will most likely actively collect data for future training of its model to make up for the their "free" offering.

Tim Apple vs Epic Tim was not on my 2024 bingo card, but I am not complaining.

@mojtabaazeez5346 you're overestimating the abilities of LLMs. Look into how they work and you will realise why they can't be truly intelligent.

A drama so spicy it woke up the dormant Fireship AI like Megatron from Transformers.
4
@manasnagelia I was serious, its just that the night is taking long!

Looking at low level languages always blows my mind because of how far we've come.

0:38 its 1m, not 10m.

AI bubble is starting to seem more and more like the NFT bubble. Remember how every NFT claimed to be not like the others, but in the end it was the same, a scam? This feels exactly the same.

The "print-ffuu" really caught me off guard, I can't stop laughing 😂

If JavaScript frameworks actually made the world a better place, the world would be heaven right now.

I am going through that phase of feeling like I don't know anything (been a coder for 1.5 years now) and this video gave me the much needed motivation, thanks!

Sorry guys got a little sidetracked with Rust, they say its THE shit and will eventually REPLACE JavaScript in the browser so that means I MUST learn it.

10 million tokens? Pretty sure its 1 million.

It would be hella satisfying to see Apple meet the same fate as Meta.

If theres one thing us webdevs love, its running around in circles.

Poor Angular, its like a right framework invented at the wrong time. I even remember when your channel was called Angular Firebase! Now I have barely used Angular so don't know what its modern state is, but the fact that it enforced TypeScript from the start goes to show that it was way ahead of its time.
3
Except frameworks tend to loop back on their evolution cycle. This is why Next feels like PHP, signals existed way before (knockoutjs ring a bell?) but modern frameworks put them in spotlight recently. Its like frameworks are trying to evolve into something different but they converge onto what has already been proven to work.
3
I can imagine how hard it must've been to shrink this video to 100 seconds since you love Firebase so much! 😆
3
It's getting really tough to pick an OS between Arch, Nix, TempleOS and Windows 7
3
Thats great to hear man, Congratulations!
3
Its not a Fireship if it doesn't end with a job post requiring ten years of experience in the tech that was just released.

There is no way to 100% verify this for an outsider. We just have to take their word for it in good faith. But I think it would be kind of naive to have this exact code running in production now that its open source. Whats more likely is that they have an internal repository which will be updated with the public one from time to time.

Visual editors work well for mobile development because usually the app runs on emulator or real device when developing and thus the feedback cycle for changes is relatively slow. More importantly there is only one styling language. Web doesn't have this problem. you can hit save and the changes are instantly reflected in the browser. If you have 2 monitors then you already have a visual editor at your disposal. Today, with the billion ways you can style your websites, its hard to make a visual editor that will work with all of them so I don't really see the appeal of this. Wix on the other hand is a low-code platform so maybe they have something else in mind, so who knows, lets see where this goes.
