  1. Imagining a 2D fabric on which the Earth sits is very inaccurate. Instead you should imagine a 3D spacetime "jelly" which gets pulled inwards wherever there is a presence of mass.

  2. ​ @borstis6783  If you have such a strong belief that time doesn't exist then you should write a paper that actually theorises it and have it peer reviewed. A nobel prize would be waiting for you if you succeed.

  3. Couldn't you say the same thing about electromagnetism? We don't know why it works, we just know that it works and we understand it to a satisfactory extent.
