  6.  William Brown  I feel your pain William. The absolute worst thing about "identity politics" is that is sucks everyone up indiscriminately in its wake, denying people their unique personalities and means of expression. The young (and not so young) scream and demand acceptance for things that people like you had to hide, without acknowledging or learning from your experiences, but insisting you validate their needs and wants as "rights," no matter how extreme or offensive they are. I doubt most people really care about anyone else's sexuality, until such a time that its paraded around in the middle of the street, on a ballooned float in assless leather chaps with a megaphone soundtrack telling us all how "intolerant" we are.

YouTube comments rarely gives one a chance to expound upon a topic beyond the "fuck you/No, fuck you" toxicity endemic to today's limited-character communication on any given subject. I'm as guilty of falling for that as anyone, but I appreciate anyone who puts themselves out there with honesty.
