Yea but it still need to hit its target and with slow moving projectile it need to be arched up. Also at this moment 75mm HEAT at this time can only penetrate half of its diameter so its effective penetration is just 37.5mm, cant even penetrate the side of T-34. This is why HEAT need larger bore to be effective.

@royhuang9715 There are reason why most HEAT ammunition of WW2 are low velocity rockets or black powder or bombs. Not artillery. Basically the technology are not there yet specially with high velocity that can deform its HEAT cone cap long before it can properly detonate.

@mmiYTB Panzerfaust is a slow moving blackpowder propelled projectile. Its HEAT cone have enough time to turn into proper jet. The penetrating power of HEAT does related to its diameter.
