  1. France did not even have military in 1939. French resistance are mostly leftist. I doubt you learn anything. Vichy France are not even collaborating with Germany properly since all they did just doing infighting and more happy killing other French citizen and it went so bad that many of them flee the country and join SS when France liberated by allies.
